Backup Exec 2010 or 2010 R2/R3 Job engine (BENGINE.EXE) service terminates during Synthetic baseline backups in module THEFH_LibCatalog.dll

Problem

During Baseline or Priming Synthetic backups the Backup Exec 2010, 2010 R2 or R3 job engine service (BENGINE.EXE) terminates in module THEFH_LibCatalog.dll.  Non Synthetic backups of the same data complete successfully.
