Error Message

On versions prior to EV 9.0 Service Pack (SP) 3 and EV 10.0 Service Pack (SP) 1, it was not possible to configure a Celerra FSA target using an HTTPS connection.  The following is displayed in a Dtrace of the EVFileSvrArcMngr process when attempting to configure the FSA target on the EV server.   For more information on Dtrace please refer to the link in the Related Articles section.

Configure the server using an HTTP connection rather than an HTTPS connection.  Also ensure that the ‘server_name’ is the name of the Enterprise Vault server that hosts the Storage service for the Celerra archiving target, as specified in the ComputerName column of the ComputerEntryTable in the Directory database. This name is the same as the alias display name of the Enterprise Vault server in the Administration Console.
