AcceleratorService.exe does not release memory after export of large items causing an Event ID: 375 error System.OutOfMemoryException error

An Error has occured when retrieving Item.
System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
CauseDuring an export of items with large attachments, the AcceleratorService.exe memory usage grows. After the export has finished, only about half of the used memory is released. When another export with large attachments is tried, an error of 'System.OutOfMemoryException' is generated.
Restart the Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service between exports, or break down the exports into smaller exports.
SolutionSymantec Corporation has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the version(s) of the product(s) referenced in this article.
There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a cumulative hotfix or service pack in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. This issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, but is not scheduled for any release.
