How to change Clearwell's default export location.

The default location for all exports is to the following location on the appliance:

<Drive Letter>:\CW\V###\data\esadb\dataStore_case_<case_ID>\fileManager\#.##.#.#\jobRun_###

<Drive Letter> = The drive to which Clearwell is installed
V### = Version of Clearwell that is installed. For example, V714
#.##.#.# = Job ID number
jobRun_### = Job run number for the attempt

For convenience or perhaps space limitations, it might be necessary to change the location to a different drive on the appliance or a mounted UNC path, or a UNC path itself.  Please use the following instructions to execute this change using the Clearwell User Interface (UI). 

  1. Within the Clearwell UI, go to System  > Support Features
  2. Under Choose a support feature, select Property Browser
  3. Under Name of property to change, copy/paste this property: esa.export.joboutput.external
  4. Under New value (leave blank to remove), enter the desired location
  5. Select this Confirm change. Are you sure?*
  6. Click Submit

To test the new location, run a test export and select Access only from appliance.
