This section provides descriptions for all the sample reports, and cross references each one of them.
Administrative reports show information about the running of VOM Advanced, such as licensing and rollup status.
Dashboard reports show summary information about SAN storage and Storage Foundation hosts.
Inventory reports list the objects in your storage environment by object type (array, operating system, and database).
Licensing reports show the number of Storage Foundation host licenses deployed in your environment, and the status of those licenses (such as active or expired).
Operational reports tell you about the databases and the file systems that are running low on resources.
Reclamation reports show where you can reclaim unused storage.
Storage allocation and chargeback reports show the allocation of array storage to hosts by tiers, and storage allocation costs.
Array utilization reports show how efficiently you are running your storage environment from an array perspective. For example, you can track, at the array level, storage that is claimed, unclaimed, allocated, unallocated, available, or undiscovered. You can also track the amount of array storage that is used for overhead.
Host utilization reports show how efficiently you are running your storage environment from a host perspective. For example, you can track, at the host level, storage that databases, file systems, and volumes use.
