The panel can contain a large number of alerts, informational messages, critical errors, and so on. Often, it can be useful to filter the information that appear in the panel so you can view information associated with a specific troubleshooting issue.
To filter messages, you can:
Choose a pre-defined filter type from the drop-down menu. For example, you can choose from the menu to show only critical errors. See Figure: Filtering alerts - Showing critical alerts only.
Filter based on a text string. For example, you can enter "replication" in the text box, then click the icon to show all replication alerts. Only alerts that include the text you entered will appear in the results panel. The text you enter can be full or partial filenames, feature names, and so on.
Filter based on advanced search criteria that includes multiple search conditions. To define an advanced filter, click the link. For example, you can create a filter that shows all Critical alerts that include the text "DAR" that occur on a specific node in the cluster. See Figure: Filtering alerts - Setting advanced criteria.
