What is VEMS?

The Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) is a web-based portal that provides access to your Veritas Entitlements. Users of this portal can manage their Entitlements, download software and generate License Keys. To learn more about the Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS), please refer to the 2021 Veritas Entitlement Management System User Guide.

To access VEMS, please visit the Support Website and select the “Licensing” tab.


What is an Entitlement?

An Entitlement is a right to use or access a product or service that is granted by Veritas to a customer or to a Veritas partner.


What is a License Key?

A License Key is used to activate the features of a product granted by an Entitlement.


User Privileges

The first User of a new VEMS Account automatically has Administrator privileges. The Administrator can add additional Users and grant them specific privileges to serve different functions.
