Unable to create Disk-based storage in Backup Exec as the configuration job keeps running continuously
Unable to create Disk-based storage in Backup Exec as the configuration job shows 'Active: Running - Configuring Virtual disk' and does not complete when attempting to create Backup-To-Disk storage.
An attempt to create a Deduplication disk storage will get stuck at 'Validating path' for long time and eventually gives error Communication with the server timed out on the call 'QueryDiskStoragePathStatus'

Configuring a Deduplication Storage folder fail with the below error message :
V-79-40960-39721 : 0xa0009b29 - Backup Exec is unable to create a backup-to-disk folder on the disk storage device. See the Job Log for details.
This issue occurs if the volume on which Backup to Disk storage or Deduplication disk storage being configured is formatted using 'Allocation unit size' (Block size) of 1MB.
Note: With Windows Server 2019, it is now possible to create NTFS block sizes above 64K and so one can now choose Allocation unit size to be 128K, 256K, 512K, 1M, or 2MB.
This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release.
