The Appliance Upgrade Readiness Analyzer has detected NetBackup report files located under
/cat/cgd that may slow down the upgrade process.
[Warning] V-409-777-9171: NetBackup report files exist under /cat/cgd. The number of files and the total size of these files may slow down the upgrade process. For details on how to delete any unnecessary report files and speed up the upgrade process, refer to https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100047212 and contact Veritas Support for assistance.
During an appliance software upgrade, files under
/cat/cgd are backed up to the appliance root (“/”) directory. Large files or a large number of files under
/cat/cgd can increase the upgrade time.
To speed up the upgrade process, delete any unnecessary files in the following root directories:
/cat/cgd/global/reports(licensing usage reports manually generated by nbdeployutil)
/cat/cgd/global/incremental/archive(nbdeployutil old automatically generated reports)
After deleting all unnecessary files, run the NetBackup Appliance Upgrade Readiness Analyzer again.
Caution: Removing any required files can result in a system crash. If a system crash occurs, you must re-image the appliance. For assistance, contact Veritas Support.
