Other ways to perform a Restore of Office 365 data if a restore job has failed, using Veritas SaaS Backup
Customer with Office 365 and Veritas SaaS Backup, attempted a restore of file or folders or user and it failed
If the restore job was a default restore, or restore to original location and for some reason failed, try the restore again in case of simple communication interruption. If the restore job fails again, then in addition to resolving the issue, there are a couple of other ways to restore the data quickly:
1. The file or folder can be downloaded to local download folder in a zip file format using the download icon to the far right of the data to be restored. Then the data can be moved back to the original location.
2. The file or folder can be offered back to the owner through a shared link to the data. This is done by clicking on the share link icon to the far right of the data to be restored and then copy the link created to an email to be sent to the owner and they can then access the data or download it to their local download folder, for access.
