Veki driver cannot be loaded during upgrade of VRTSvxvm

Problem

Upgrade of VRTSvxvm failed.

Error Message

  • The appliances are rolled back automatically and rebooted. The Manage > Software > UpgradeStatus CLI command shows "Rollback is done." after a reboot.
  • The /log/upgrade_upgrade_log_7.4.2_yyyy_mm_dd shows:

    vuf_main->vuf_yum_operation:303) failed to upgrade from access-stable, command "yum -c /opt/IMAppliance/vuf/yum/yum.conf --disableplugin=subscription-manager --enablerepo=access-stable -y update VRTSamf

    ...

    ...

    ...

    VRTSvxvm": returned 1


    The /log/vos/vuf.log file shows:

Cause

Veki driver cannot be loaded when upgrading VRTSvxvm.

Solution

Re-run the upgrade using the Manage > Software > Install  CLI command.
