"Maximum file size" field on Disk Storage displays 400GB or 1GB even if it is set to larger than 400GB

Problem

Reviewing Disk Storage Properties page in the Backup Exec console, the "Maximum file size" value will only show a maximum figure of 400GB or 1GB, even if this is previously set to larger than 400GB. See the image below;

Error Message

Cause

This is a cosmetic display issue in the Backup Exec console. The Disk Storage will be created at the size you originally defined.

If you need to see the correct value for "Maximum file size", please close the Backup Exec console once and open it again. After then, please see the "Maximum file size". The correct value is displayed until you perform the other operations on the console.

Solution

This issue has no impact on backup / restore functions.
