Simplified disaster recovery wizard does not display backup sets for recovery

Problem

Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) wizard is not displaying backup sets of servers which backed up successfully with critical components selected in the job. 

Error Message

The BEDRWIZ.LOG collected from SDR wizard shows below error:

[1808]: CPageSelectBackupSets::GetDRFileForLatestRecoveryPoint(MS: Backup Exec server name, Computer: Remote server name) - Enter
[1808]: Error: Failed to get the .DR file using the catalog API GetDrFile(). Media Server Name: Backup Exec server name, JobExecutionID: {}
[1808]: CPageSelectBackupSets::OnSetActive(): GetDRFileForLatestRecoveryPoint failed.

Cause

Backup job log does not update the message that ".DR file has been successfully updated", for the servers, which has this issue.

Solution

This issue is fixed in Backup Exec 16. 
For earlier version of Backup Exec, please Perform Manual Recovery of the server. Please check related article for more details.

Veritas Technologies LLC has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in earlier versions listed under the Product(s) Section of this article. Veritas Technologies LLC is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. 
 
There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time.  However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.
