Problem
Enterprise Vault (EV) for Domino tasks may fail to process because they are unable to connect to a particular target Domino server from the (EV) server after changing the IP address of the target server. This issue can manifest itself by reporting event ID's indicating that either the Journal Archiving task, Mailbox Archiving Task, or Provisioning Task is having difficulty connecting to one or more particular target and therefor not processing as expected.Error Message

Attempts to connect to the target from the Lotus Notes client on the (EV) fail with the following error message:
The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems.
Cause
This issue can be caused when the IP address of a particular target server is changed to a different IP address and the corresponding Domino server connection document is not updated to reflect the change.Solution
In the Domino Connection Documents edit the existing connection to update the IP address of the server.
1. Open Contacts and click View > Advanced Connections.
2. Click the Connection document that requires the change and click the Edit Connection button.
3. Make the necessary changes and click Save and Close.
