In a supported configuration, OpsCenter must be at the same or higher version than the NetBackup master server.

Problem

OpsCenter must be at same or higher version than the NetBackup master server it is collecting data from.  This is also true for "triple-dot" releases.

Solution

To be in a supported configuration, make sure that OpsCenter is at same or higher level than the NetBackup master server it is collecting from.

For instance, if the NetBackup master server is running version 10.0, then the OpsCenter server must NOT be at a lower version such as 9.1.0.1 or 8.3.0.1 - it could be at version 10.0 or 10.0.0.1.

Applies To

OpsCenter 8.x, 9.x up to 10.0.0.1

NetBackup 8.x, 9.x, up to 10.0.0.1

* 10.0.0.1 is the final OpsCenter release.
