Cause

Issue caused by left over content in the temp folder on media server "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Data\VMwareTemp\"

This might be due to antivirus scanning or lack of permission on the folder for the account being used.

Solution

Delete the folder that appears in the debug from the Media server.

Re-run the backup with SAN transport mode.
