Solution

Enterprise Vault 8.0 or later versions altered the way that the Enterprise Vault Storage subsystem worked for the purposes of Single Instance Storage(SIS). Previously, if a vault store was configured to remove the safety copies "Immediately After Archive", it would not require the Saveset files to be secured. 

With Enterprise Vault 8.0 or later, it now requires a backup and securing the Saveset files even if the system is set to remove the safety copies "Immediately After Archive".

It was common to use this for setting because Enterprise Vault servers were being backed up using non file level backups, like drive snapshots or VM snapshots. As such, after upgrading to Enterprise Vault 8.0 or later, Enterprise Vault will generate the Event ID: 41008 in the event log starting that there are 'XXXXXXX' number of Saveset's awaiting backup within the Vault Store.
