25001: spoolRecover could not commit to data store at recovery, retrying retry 120 (object already exists).

Cause

By default spoold.log should not be present under DriveLetter:\BackupExecDeduplicationStorageFolder\data\journal\

Solution

Remove the Spoold.log from under DriveLetter:\BackupExecDeduplicationStorageFolder\data\journal\ and start the Backup Exec Deduplication Engine Service.

Note : There is a possibility that manual move or cut/rename would not work. In which case it is recommended to run CHKDSK on the drive which hosts the Deduplication Storage Folder. If any file system or disk related errors are seen they need to be rectified before proceeding further.
