User backup return Server status = 199

Problem

Unable to run user backup from client even though the user backup schedule is created.

Error Message

14:47:28 Initiating backup
14:47:33 INF - Server status = 199
14:47:33 INF - Backup by root on client <client_name> using policy <policy_name> sched <schedule_name>:operation not allowed during this time period
 

Cause

The problem this error occurs is that the user backup schedule is a copied from a full schedule that has calendar based schedule on it. User backup schedule as created from scratch will not allow one to select calendar or frequency base.

Solution

Either delete the user backup schedule that is a copy from a full or incremental schedule that has the calendar base schedule and recreate the user backup schedule or modify the existing user backup schedule by changing the backup type to full backup and then de-select the calendar base and change it back to user backup type schedule.

Make sure that the start windows also cover all the days and hours that allow user the perform backup.
