Cause

A binary mismatch between the NetBackup client and the NetBackup media server.

Solution

To resolve the issue, upgrade the NetBackup software on the media server to the correct level.

The media server must be at the same version or higher than the client versions it backs up.

The media server also cannot be at a higher version of the NetBackup software that is installed on the primary server.
