The solution ensures a fast built, low cost, and reliable business-level disaster recovery solution that bridges multiple cloud technologies.

The new solution ensures 1-click migration or failover from its on-premise private cloud to the AWS public cloud – with an SLO of 5 min RPO, 60 min RTO for a single business application. By using the ‘Pilot Light’ disaster recover model enabled by Veritas technology, Tongwei can avoid paying for unutilized cloud computing resources. Veritas technology also enabled a 1-click fire drill feature by calling the AWS snapshot function in a quarantined environment, thus preventing any interruption to the production environment.
