INSTALL THE PATCH MANUALLY

This hotfix is applicable for Veritas Managed Hosts.
To install the patch, perform the following steps on Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager Server(VIOM CMS)
1. Download the file "deploy_vxdclid_plugin_x.x.tar.gz"
2. Copy the patch "deploy_vxdclid_plugin_x.x.tar.gz" to /tmp
* mkdir /tmp/hf
* Copy the patch "deploy_vxdclid_plugin_x.x.tar.gz" to /tmp/hf
* cd /tmp/hf
* gunzip deploy_vxdclid_plugin_x.x.tar.gz
* tar -xvf deploy_vxdclid_plugin_x.x.tar
3. Install the hotfix.
* Go to directory where 'deploy_vxdclid_plugin.pl' is available
cd /tmp/hf
* Run the below command to install the patch
Linux VIOM CMS
/opt/VRTSsfmh/bin/perl deploy_vxdclid_plugin.pl --os-name [AIX][Linux][SunOS] --vxvm-ver <VRTSvxvm version installed on Managed Hosts e.g. 7.2.0.1>
Linux VIOM CMS with "--force" option (It will replace vxdclid plugin forcefully with new plugin)
