June 2012 updates

The following product updates were made available as part of the June 2012 release of Discovery.cloud.

Enhancements:

  • Removal of rollover window in mail grid - the rollover window that displays a preview of the message body was removed from the mail grid of Discovery.cloud to improve usability. After the June release, the rollover window that sometimes prevented users from seeing other messages in the mail grid are no longer displayed.

  • Disable automatic display of message preview after search - to improve application performance, the mail body and metadata information is no longer displayed automatically in the preview pane after a search. After the June release, users can select a message in the mail grid to view the mail body and metadata information in the preview pane.

Fixes

  • Ability to download attachments - an issue with Discovery.cloud users without the Reviewer or Administrator role not being able to download attachments has been resolved. After the June release, the ability to download attachments are no longer linked to the role that is assigned to the user.

  • Cached search results - an issue with search results being cached for some users of Internet Explorer 9 has been resolved. After the June release, the search results are not displayed from cached results when a user changes the search criteria.

  • Updating saved searches - an issue that caused errors to occur when certain customers attempted to update a saved search has been resolved.

  • Adding custodians to saved searches - an issue with custodians being duplicated when a user attempts to add a custodian to a saved search has been resolved.

  • Length of Quick Search criteria - an issue with searches not being saved when a user enters more than 1,000 character in the Quick Search field has been resolved. After the June release, entries in the Quick Search field are limited to 1,000 characters.

  • Display of search results for email addresses - an issue with email addresses not being displayed in bold and highlighted has been resolved.

  • CAPTCHA for Forgot Password functionality - an issue with the CAPTCHA for the Forgot Password functionality not being displayed has been resolved.

  • Display of saved search name in export details - an issue with the name of a saved search not being displayed in the downloads details section of the Export Status page has been resolved.

  • Access to exports from non-trusted networks - an issue with users being able to access export downloads from networks not listed on the Trusted Networks page in Archive Administration has been resolved. After the June release, users can no longer download export files from non-trusted networks.

  • Displayed time zone - an issue with the incorrect time zone being displayed for certain customers has been resolved. After the June release, the time zone that is displayed in Discovery.cloud matches the time zone that is set in Archive Administration.

  • Indication of EDRM export status in export details - an issue with the EDRM check box not being selected in the downloads details section of the Export Status page for EDRM exports has been resolved.

  • Duplicate search criteria for updated saved searches - an issue with search criteria being duplicated when a user updates a saved search has been resolved.
