Problem
The root (/) filesystem is filling up, or is 100% full.
Error Message
The /tmp filesystem cleanup script only removes specific files, resulting in a full root filesystem after several days due to Callhome telemetry files filling the root filesystem
If attempting to access a maintenance shell via the CLISH (Support > Maintenance > elevate) commands, you may encounter the following error:<!-- Maintenance Mode --!> Use of chdir('') or chdir(undef) as chdir() is deprecated at /opt/NBUAppliance/scripts/maintenance.pl line 129.
Cause
Under 2.6.0.1 & 2.6.0.2, Callhome telemetry archive files (/tmp/nbtelemetry*) can be quite large, and are not removed automatically.
Under certain conditions, this can result in a full root filesystem within 4 days of enabling the Callhome feature.
For example:my-nbu5220:/tmp # ls -lat | grep nbtelemetry
drwx------ 3 root root 4096 Jan 9 05:43 nbtelemetry_201401090543Ffs
drwx------ 3 root root 4096 Jan 9 05:28 nbtelemetry_201401090528LcG
drwx------ 3 root root 4096 Jan 9 05:13 nbtelemetry_201401090513ZMV
