DescriptionThe following list documents the log files that are required for most technical support cases for System Recovery:
- For any Windows based machine, provide Veritas QuickAssist logs (https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100038617)
- For any Linux machine that has an issue with System Recovery, provide the following logs (https://www.veritas.com/docs/000082276)
- For any issues with the System Recovery Management Solution, provide the following logs (http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO44354)
- If an issue is seen during a restore using the recovery disk (SRD), the following logs should be provided (https://www.veritas.com/docs/000089420). Note: if an error/failure is seen during the restore process, collect these logs at the end of the restore process and before restarting the machine.
