Note: The current version of NetBackup is 8.1. If you currently have a support subscription with Veritas, an upgrade may be available for no additional charge. You may verify your eligibility and download the current version of NetBackup at our Entitlement site. If you have additional questions or need assistance please contact Veritas Support. New! (ET 3913179) alert: VTS17-004 – A Hotfix is now available for NetBackup and NetBackup Appliances
(ET 3889459) An Emergency Engineering binary (EEB) bundle is available to resolve some NDMP issues in NetBackup 7.7.2.
This EEB contains fixes for the following issues:
Fixed in 8.0: (ET 3875450) NetBackup 7.7.2 NDMP accelerated backups can fail with status 13.
Fixed in 7.7.3: (ET 3876225) NDMP Accelerator-enabled backups fail reporting status code 84. Additionally, a checksum error can be found in the bptm log.
Fixed in 7.7.3: alert: VTS16-001: A hotfix is now available for NetBackup, NetBackup OpsCenter, and NetBackup Appliances.
Fixed in 7.7.3: (ET 3876874) A NetBackup 7.7.2 LiveUpdate to a later version completes, but a job failure is reported.
Fixed in 7.7.3: (ET 3867824) Downloadable Fix: A hotfix is available for NetBackup 7.7.2 which resolves an issue where the Java GUI on a Windows server fails to connect and some NetBackup services fail to start.
(ET 3866417) After upgrading Exchange 2013 to Cumulative Update 11 (CU11), Exchange backup may fail with either status code 69 or 130
