Unable to push Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) agent to remote workstations if Windows or 3rd party firewalls are enabled.
Problem
When selecting remote workstations to push the DLO agent to an error indicates an invalid name or permission issue exists Figure 1.

The computer name you have entered is invalid or you do not have permissions to browse this computer. Please enter another name.
Cause
DLO is designed to work in firewall environments. For DLO to function properly in a firewall environment, network file shares must be visible after establishing a remote connection such as VPN. If file sharing is not allowed, DLO will not be able to transfer files to or from the network user data folder. Desktop computer files will still be protected to the desktop user data folder, and will be transferred when the network user data folder is accessible.

Before installing DLO to remote computers, the following must be considered:
