Problem

When a user attempts to recover deleted items some folders may not be visible in the archive if the parent folder contains no archived items “empty folder”.  This parent folder shows as Deleted = 1 in the ArchiveFolder table, but the sub-folder shows as Deleted = 0.  The user cannot access items in the sub-folder(s) of this “empty folder”.

The Delete statement conflicted with the SAME TABLE REFERENCE constraint "FK_ArchiveFolder_ArchiveFolder". The conflict occurred in database "EnterpriseVaultDirectory", table "dbo.ArchiveFolder", column 'ParentFolderRootIdentity'.

Cause

The behavior in question derives from Storage Delete attempting to delete a subfolder of a folder that is not marked for deletion.
