How to verify what private/hotfixes are installed on a local system

Solution

To verify the fixes that are installed on the system, you can use any of the following method:
I] Using the Windows Add Remove Programs:
        To view the fixes that are installed on the system,
        1.     Open the Windows Add/Remove program or Programs and Features.
        2.     Click View installed updates.
        List of all installed fixes appears.

 

II] Using CLI
The Veritas Hotfix Installer, VxHF, enables you list the fixes installed on the system. This utility is included with all the private/hotfixes, and is extracted at the following location:

on 32-bit system: "%CommonProgramFiles%\Veritas Shared\WxRTPrivates\<Private_Number >
on 64-bit system: "%CommonProgramFiles(x86)%\Veritas Shared\WxRTPrivates\<Private_Number>
To view the fixes installed on the system,
       1.     Navigate to the VxHF.exe location.
       2.     From the command line, run the following command:
 

vxhf.exe /list

Log location
The installer creates and stores a log file (VxHF.TXT) at the following location: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Veritas\VxHF
