Solution

WORKAROUND:
  1. Open a command prompt (run as administrator)
  2. Execute the following command: regsvr32 "<drive letter>:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas System Recovery\Shared\ErrorGui.dll"
  3. Confirm that the DLL was registered successfully, then reboot the machine
If the above steps do not resolve the problem, please try the following:
  1. Open a command prompt (run as administrator)
  2. Execute the following batch file "C:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas System Recovery\fixinstall.bat"
  3. Reboot the machine

This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
