Problem

When setting up a Connection Policy to Disable Network backups if a DLOClient
machine is not within a certain IP address range, multiple entries will upersede
each other.

For example:  If a Connection Policy is set up as the following:

Connection Type:
IP address range

Computers that "are not" in this IP address range:
IP4:
192.168.2.100 to 192.168.2.125

Desktop Agent behavior:
- Disable network backup

If a machine has an IP address of 192.168.2.101 the backup will work becuase it is
within that range.

However, if you add another rnage of IP addresses:

Computers that "are not" in this IP address range:
IP4:
192.168.2.100 to 192.168.2.128
192.168.2.150 to 192.168.2.175

Desktop Agent behavior:
-Disable network backup

Now the same machine that has an IP address of 192.168.2.101 the network backup
will not run because it does not fall in to the second range of IP addresses even
though it does fall into the first range.

Solution

To prevent backups from occurring for DLO Clients that are in specific ranges, create a Connection Policy to block backups for specific IP address ranges.

Doing this will allow clients to run backups if they are not in the excluded ranges.
