V-79-57344-37908 SharePoint incremental backup fails with error 0xa0009414 when its database(s) are selected using Backup Exec Agent for SQL selections

Problem

SharePoint Incremental backups fails with the following error

Error Message

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa0009414 - The last Full backup for this database did not use VSS snapshot technology.  Block level incremental and differential SQL Agent backups require a previous snapshot Full backup.

Cause

This may occur if the SQL agent backup is backing up the SharePoint databases between the full and incremental SharePoint backups

Solution

Exclude or remove the SharePoint database(s) from the SQL Agent backup selection list.
