Solution
Quantum Encryption Key Manager is a third party solution to manage hardware based encryption on tape libraries. Management software is supplied by Quantum.
If encrypted tapes are to be restored on a different library to the one that wrote the images, the library and drives must be supported by Q-EKM and configured within Q-EKM management software.
The configuration is transparent to Netbackup.
