Problem
A Windows Client update with LiveUpdate Policy fails with status 77
Error Message
EXIT STATUS 77
execution of the specified system command returned a nonzero status (77)
The Live Update log shows the following:

The server connection attempt failed with a return code of 1814, LiveUpdate could not retrieve the catalog file of available Symantec product and component updates.

Configuration of Internet Explorer security settings
Solution
A reported solution is to add the LiveUpdate server address into Internet Explorer 'Trusted Sites' list (Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites)
