Unable to restore attachments from specific message store when using the Granular Restore Option (GRO).
On an Exchange 2007 server configured with 2 message stores, attachments are not visible and cannot be restored using the Granular Restore Option (GRO) when restoring emails from a specific message store.
This is seen even when there is a paperclip icon showing against the email being restored inside the GRO user interface (UI).

This issue is resolved with Symantec System Recovery (SSR) 2011.
