We were told when this Windows product came out it would be supported on both Backup Exec 2010R3.2 &  2012 (previous support case). It is not unreasonable to expect a currently 'current product' (2010 R3.2) to support a current mainstream operating system that has been out for four months now. Upgrade cycles have to be appreciated where we cannnot do a wholesale upgrade to BE 2012 until next summer. It would be nice to see an agent / support be made available. What perccentage of paying customers are still on something OTHER than BE 2012 at this time?

We have had to resort to a competitive product SCDPM 2012) to Protect our growing # of Windows Server 2012 systems that have been replacing the 2003 and 2008 R2 systems.
We have been hounding our BE support for the Windows Server 2012 Remote Agent, to no avail.
I highly doubt that we will switch back when they finally release an agent. We plan to save a pile on licensing.
They can file this one under "REDICULOUS"

I too have a number of servers that I have migrated to Windows Server 2012. Waiting of an upgrade (that probably will have bugs) is so typical of Symantec. Could be time to switch like DPackard has.
