System Recovery 2013 R2 Error E0BB00B5

Good Day to All,

We are getting an snapshot error message and are scratching our heads trying to firgure this out. The backup seems to fail only in the last second or 2.

It only happends on one of volumes and not the 'C' drive. A restart does not help either and everytime we ger this error message, we have to restart the "HyperV Virtual Machine Management Service" as the error stops the "Microsoft HyperV VSS Writer": We are running running Server 2012 R2. We have also degraged our disks and no errors are poping up.

Any help is appreciated.

The error message is,

"

Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Drive Backup of (E:\).
Error E0BB00B5: Snapshot error Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'OS error 2147754806.'. (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

Details:
Source: Symantec System Recovery

Check the Hyper-V VMMS logs for any other detailed information regarding the VSS error.

Also check the Application & System logs for around the time when the backup failure occurred.

Common cause for this error could be if Automount is disabled.
