Hi ,
We want your expert opinion and guidance in migrating Storage from a existing 2 Node Windows 2008 VCS cluster 6.0.1 to new one.
We have a new Windows 2008 VCS cluster 6.0.1 installed and now we want to move the existing data disk from existing cluster to new cluster.

Thanks in advance,

With Regards,
Kumar

Offline the disk and diskgroup resource on the existing cluster (this will unmount and deport the diskgroup).

Confirm that zoning and Lun assignment is done for new cluster nodes.
Rescan for disks on the new nodes.
Disks should be seen in deported state.

Add diskgroup and mount resources in VCS service group and add dependencies.

Online the resources on one node.
Confirm that data is accessible.
Test failover to other node.

If all is well, you can delete the resources in the old cluster.
Remove zoning and Lun assignment.
