How to find tapes belonging to Jobs?

Hi,

how can I find the tapes that are used in certain full monthly (in this case) back up jobs? I wanna take those off from library.

This was really easy task in previous versions of BE. I am now using the 2012 version.

Hi,

Your job log should show you what tapes were used in your monthly job.

As mentioned above you can find the tapes by opening the job log and viewing the device and media information ... view below

Hi and thanks for the answers. I know that method mentioned above, but now i have to open each servers job log separately to find out what tape was used.

In previous BE version there was only one job log where were listed all the tapes that were used example in full monthly job.

Or am I still missing something?

I don't ever know of 1 job log showing all tapes used in a full monthly job. A job shows what tapes were used for that day's run.

You could also run a report to see what tapes belong to which media sets...
